1992 - Portunus' Little CBCS - 1998

Portunus' Little CBCS ("PLCBCS") was a BBS (Bulletin Board System) that ran in Auckland, New Zealand, from 1992 to 1998. PLCBCS was a different BBS, a place where everyone was free to say their piece without fear of sysop control, a place where you could message freely and talk to people about whatever you wanted without having to disclose any information. It was the epitome of free speech and online communication. At 12 midnight, April 14, 1998, the BBS closed for the last time. This is a website dedicated to the board, and the legend which will follow it into eternity.
